AI Trading Bot vs Bitsgap
Bitsgap and TRION are not the same product, and pretending otherwise helps no one. Bitsgap runs your trades across exchanges. TRION sits one layer earlier and helps you decide whether a strategy is worth trading at all.
- 01 Bitsgap is a multi-exchange execution terminal; TRION is a paper-only strategy validation workstation.
- 02 If you need live multi-exchange execution and bots, Bitsgap is the better fit.
- 03 TRION is for testing a strategy against historical data in paper-runtime before risking capital.
- 04 No live orders, fills, or real positions exist in TRION during Phase 2 Beta.
- 05 In TRION the AI analyzes and explains; humans make every decision.
In-depth analysis
What each tool is actually for
Bitsgap is a multi-exchange terminal. You connect your accounts, run pre-built grid and DCA bots, and manage live positions across venues from one screen. If your problem is execution and routing across exchanges, Bitsgap is the genuinely better choice. That is its job and it does it well.
TRION solves the step before that: turning a vague trading idea into a strategy you have tested. You draft a strategy, run it against historical data, and watch it behave in paper-runtime before any real capital is involved. During Phase 2 Beta, TRION is simulation-only and paper-only. There are no live orders, no fills, and no real positions inside TRION today.
Where the line sits
The two tools rarely overlap. A disciplined trader might validate an idea in TRION, then execute it across exchanges in Bitsgap. They answer different questions. Bitsgap asks how do I run this everywhere. TRION asks should I run this at all.
How to choose
Pick Bitsgap if you already trust your strategy and need clean multi-exchange execution and bot automation. Pick TRION if you want to pressure-test an idea against real history first, with AI helping you read what happened. Inside TRION, the AI analyzes and explains. It does not approve, activate, or place trades. You decide. The honest summary: these are complementary tools, and there is no live-execution comparison to make while TRION stays paper-only.
What TRION adds
TRION adds an honest validation layer that Bitsgap does not target: drafting a strategy, replaying it against real historical data, and watching it run in paper-runtime with no money at stake. The AI assists by surfacing and explaining what the strategy did, while TRION validates the setup and risk rules flag problems.
This is paper-only by design during beta. TRION will not execute, route, or fill anything. AI assists. TRION validates. Risk protects. Humans decide.
